【摘要】:Thisstandardprovidesthetechniquesandrationaleforreferencingacoustictelephonymeasurementstothefreefield.Itappliestoear-relatedmeasurementssuchasreceive,sidetone,andoverall.Acommonacousticreferencepointisneededforcomparingelectroacousticperformanceofhandset,headset,handsfree,andotherkindsoftelephoneterminals.Itisalsoneededforcomparingtelephoneterminalswithotherdevicessuchasloudspeakers,mobilecommunicationdevices,multimediaterminals,andconsumeraudioequipment.Thefreefieldistheappropriatereferencepointbecausetheresultsrelatecloselytowhatisheardbythelistener.Therefore,thefreefieldisamorewidelyapplicablereferencepointfortelephonymeasurementsthanthetraditionalERP(earreferencepoint).

【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsforthedesignofjointsandtheuseofjointingproductsinbuildingconstruction.Followingananalysisofjointfunctionsandoftheperformanceofthepartstobejoined,jointsareclassifiedinthisstandardonthebasisofthemovementsandinaccuraciestheyhavetoaccommodate.Mechanismsbywhichjointsoperateareidentifiedandrecommendationsaremadeontheuseofsealantsandgaskets.Someemphasisisplacedonweatherresistanceofjointsintheexternalenvelopeofbuildings.Thecodedoesnotpresentguidanceintheformofacatalogueofprovenjointdesigns,becausetheextenttowhichadesignisappropriatetoaparticularusedependsoncircumstancesspecifictothebuilding,e.g.itsexposure,desiredperformance,durabilityandcosts.Thecodethereforedrawsattentiontomattersthatneedconsideration,inorderthatsolutionsmaybedevelopedthatareappropriate.Thecodedoesnotcover:a)rigidlyconnectedjoints(excepttype1joints,see4.6.4.1);b)jointswithincomponentsnormallymadeinafactory,suchasthosearoundopeninglightsinwindows;c)theload-bearingfunctionsofstructuraljoints;d)glazing(seeBS6262);e)jointsinservicepipesandductsandtheirconnectionstoappliances;f)methodsoftestforjointsorforjointingproducts.Allfiguresinthisstandardshowingdetailedjointdesignsillustrateprinciplesinarecognizablecontextandarenotproductiondrawingsofprovenanduniversallyapplicablejoints.
