【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversmaterial,design,structuralperformance,andmanufacturingpracticerequirementsformonolithicorsectionalcorrugatedpolyethylenegreaseinterceptortankswithvolumesequaltoorgreaterthan333gallons(1,260liters).Thecorrugatedhighdensitypolyethylene(HDPE)greaseinterceptortanksareplacedbetweencommercialfoodservice(kitchen)drainsandsanitarysewerinterceptorstominimizetheimpactofcommercialfoodserviceeffluentcontaininggrease,oils,soapscumandothertypicalcommercialfoodservicewastesonthesanitarysewersystem.Typicalsourcesofcommercialkitcheneffluentarescullerysinks,potandpansinks,dishwashers,soupkettlesandfloordrainswheregreasecontainingmaterialsmayexist.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.ThisspecificationcoverspipeandfittingsforhorizontallylaidcorrugatedHDPEgreaseinterceptortanksasillustratedinFig.1.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
