本标准规定了普及小型录音机运带机构（简称机芯）的技术要求、测试方法、环境试验要求、可靠性要求及试验方法、验收规则和包装、标志、运输、贮存的要求。本标准适用于带宽为3.81mm的普及级小型、袖珍型盒式磁带录放音机运带机构（简称机芯）。小型系指电机外径不大于30mm的机芯。袖珍型系指电机外径不大于26mm或厚度不大于13mm的机芯。
