【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesameansofdeterminingtheacidityofsulfurandmaybeusedforqualitycontrol,researchanddevelopment,orforanyotherreasonforwhichsuchadeterminationisrequired.Alowacidityvalueindicatestotheuserthatthesulfurusedshouldnotadverselyaffectthevulcanizationsystem.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheacidmaterial,whichdisassociatesindistilledwater,thatispresentinsulfur.Theacidityisdeterminedbyanelectrometricorvisualtitration.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
