【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60603-7covers8-way,unshielded,freeandfixedconnectors,andspecifiesmechanicalandenvironmentalrequirements,andelectricaltransmissionrequirementsforfrequenciesupto100MHz.Theseconnectorsaretypicallyusedascategory5connectorsinclassDcablingsystemsspecifiedinISO/IEC11801:2002.Theseconnectorsareintermateable,interoperable,andbackwardcompatiblewithotherIEC60603-7seriesconnectors.WhilethedefinitionofinteroperableisbeingdiscussedwithinIEC,“interoperable”inthisstandardmeansthefollowing:ThefixedandthefreeconnectorarecapableofinterconnectingwithanyIEC60603-7seriesconnector,andthatwhenitisinterconnected,itfullymeetsallrequirementsofthelowerfrequencyIEC60603-7seriesstandard.NOTETransmissionperformancecategories:inthispartofIEC60603-7,theterm“category”,whenusedinreferencetotransmissionperformance,referstothosecategoriesdefinedbyISO/IEC11801:2002.
