【摘要】:Determiningthetypeandamountofhydrocarbonimpuritiesremainingfromthemanufactureoftoluene,mixedxylenes,andp-xylenesusedaschemicalintermediatesandsolventsisoftenrequired.Thistestmethodissuitableforsettingspecificationsandforuseasaninternalqualitycontroltoolwheretheseproductsareproducedorareused.Typicalimpuritiesare:alkanescontaining1to10carbonsatoms,benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene(EB),xylenes,andaromatichydrocarbonscontainingninecarbonatoms.5.1.1RefertoTestMethodD2306fordeterminingtheC8aromatichydrocarbondistributioninmixedxylenes.Purityiscommonlyreportedbysubtractingthedeterminedexpectedimpuritiesfrom100.00.However,agaschromatographicanalysiscannotdetermineabsolutepurityifunknownorundetectedcomponentsarecontainedwithinthematerialbeingexamined.ThistestmethodissimilartoTestMethodD2360,however,interlaboratorytestinghasindicatedabiasmayexistbetweenthetwomethods.Thereforetheuseriscautionedthatthetwomethodsmaynotgivecomparableresults.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetotalnonaromatichydrocarbonsandtracemonocyclicaromatichydrocarbonsintoluene,mixedxylenes,andp-xylenesbygaschromatography.Thepurityoftoluene,mixedxylenes,orp-xylenescanalsobecalculated.Calibrationofthegaschromatographicsystemisdonebytheexternalstandardcalibrationtechnique.Asimilartestmethod,usingtheinternalstandardcalibrationtechnique,isTestMethodD2360.1.2Totalaliphatichydrocarbonscontaining1through10carbonatoms(methanethroughdecanes)canbedetectedbythistestmethodatconcentrationsrangingfrom0.001to2.500weight%.1.2.1Asmallamountofbenzeneinmixedxylenesorp-xylenesmaynotbedistinguishedfromthenonaromaticsandtheconcentrationsaredeterminedasacomposite(see6.1).1.3Monocyclicaromatichydrocarbonimpuritiescontaining6through10carbonatoms(benzenethroughC10aromatics)canbedetectedbythistestmethodatindividualconcentrationsrangingfrom0.001to1.000weight%.1.4Thefollowingappliestoallspecifiedlimitsinthistestmethod:forpurposesofdeterminingconformancewiththistestmethod,anobservedvalueoracalculatedvalueshallberoundedoff"tothenearestunit"inthelastright-handdigitusedinexpressingthespecificationlimit,inaccordancewiththerounding-offmethodofPracticeE29.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatement,seeSection9.

【摘要】:Themeasurementmethodsandspecificationsareintendedaspartofatotalsignalperformancecompliancerequirementsetwherethephasecontentofthesignalisinvolved.Amoregeneralizedconceptforjittercompliancetestingisdevelopedwherethephasepropertiesofthesignalslevelsotherthanthenominalreceiverswitchingpointareconsideredaswellasthephasepropertiesatthenominalreceiverdetectionthreshold.ThepurposeofthisreportistoprovidebackgroundinformationforrevisingandexpandingthesignalspecificationspresentlycontainedwithintheFC-PH-n,FC-Pl-n,FC-100-DF-EL-Sand10GFCstandardsanddraftstandards.TheMJSQtechnicalreportisusedasabasisformanyofthesignalspecificationmethodologiesinthesedocuments.Afurtherpurposeistoincreasethegeneralunderstandingofjitterinmulti-gigabaudserialtransmissionsforapplicationtotransportsotherthanFibreChannel.Documentinghighspeedserialsignalmeasurementmethodsprovidesencouragementtoinstrumentcompaniestocreatecompatiblemeasurementsystemsandfixturingcapableofsupporting1GBdandhighertransmissionratesandmoregeneralizedjitterconcepts.AlthoughthisdocumentisoptimizedforusewithFibreChannel,themeasurementmethodologiesareapplicabletoabroadrangeofserialtransmissionschemes.ThisTechnicalReportappliestofullyfunctionalFibreChannelsubsystemandFCportimplementationsaswellastotheindividualcomponentsthatcomprisethelink.Thisallowsdeviceandenclosurelevelqualificationandtheinclusionofsystemjittercontributionssuchaspowersupplynoise,motornoise,crosstalkandsignalrejuvenaters.AmajorgoalofMJSQistoimprovetherelationshipbetweenmeasurementsonsignalsandreceiverperformanceintermsofbiterrors.Thereportaddstoorextendspreviousworkinthefollowingareas:a)ExposingseriousimplementationerrorscommonlyfoundfromimproperuseofBERT'sandsamplingoscilloscopes(improperuseoftimereferencesandimproperextractionoftotaljitterfromsamplingoscilloscopes)b)Algorithmsforseparatingjittercomponentsc)Completespecificationsforexecutingtestsincludingtestfixtures,instrumentationspecifications,calibrationschemes,measurementprocessesanddataoutputformats-examplesforseveralelectricalandopticalapplicationsd)Methodologyforspecifyinglaunchedandreceiversignalprocessingisusede)Inclusionofeventsoccurringatallsignallevelswithintheallowedeyeopeningatthespecifiedtotalpopulationprobability(e.g,.10)f)Extendingthereceivertolerancemethodologytoconsidereffectsofdifferentpopulationdistributions.TheMJSQTechnicalReportisinformativeandadvisoryonly.CertaincontentsofthisdocumentmaybeincorporatedintotheappropriateINCITSstandardinthefuture.
